Jenny Mercer, Hyattville

2006 Recipient of the Wyoming Association of Conservation District's Outstanding Cooperator Award

On November 15, 2006 at the Holiday Inn in Rock Springs Jenny Mercer of Hyattville was honored at the annual WACD award's luncheon for her dedication and service to the South Big Horn Conservation District.  Jenny is the current chairman of the local Water Quality Steering Committee and has lead the group through the process of compiling and writing a comprehensive Watershed Plan for the streams and rivers in the South Big Horn Conservation District. 

Jenny has also been instrumental in helping the District obtain Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality 319
monies to assist landowners with septic rehabilitations on older faulty systems, and feedlot relocations/rehabilitations. 

In 2006, Jenny also received the South Big Horn Conservation District's Cooperator of the Year Award given each year to deserving cooperators. For more information on Jenny please click here.
