Water Testing
The Platte County Resource District does in-house testing of water samples at no charge to Platte County citizens for coliform bacteria and E. coli . Samples needing additional testing can be done through the University of Wyoming. Please call the district and we can help you with information and sample collecting procedures.
Safe Well Water Testing Results
Fifty seven well water samples were brought to the district office to be taken to Laramie for analysis at the lab. It is recommended that well water be tested yearly.
