Board of Supervisor's Bibliographies

Ken Small, Chairman serves as a Rural Board Member. Ken is a fourth generation Platte County rancher running a cattle operation near Shamrock on Mule Creek with his wife, Patty.  Ken and Patty have two children, Stephanie and Todd, and one grandchild.  Ken also serves on the Palmer Canyon Fire Department.

Stephen Shockley, Vice Chairman serves as the At-Large Board Member for the Platte County Resource District.  Steve is a native of Platte County.  He grew up on his family's ranch and is now a ranch manager for the Down Time Ranch located southwest of Wheatland.  Steve has two children, Tyler and Katie.  Steve is also involved in the Palmer Canyon Fire Department.

Hardy vonForell, Secretary/Treasurer of the PCRD is a fourth generation rancher.  Hardy and his wife, Mary, have three children, Kristine, Ben, and Amanda.  The vonForells live east of Wheatland.  Hardy is an active member of the Wyoming Stock Grower's Association and R-Calf USA.  Hardy is serving as a Rural Board Member. Hardy also serves as Area II Director for the Wyoming Association of Conservation Districts.
