Range Program
Cost Share Program
The Platte County Resource District will be prioritizing range management and range improvement projects for cost share funding. Potential projects could include cross fencing and water development to increase distribution, herbicide treatments, inter-seeding, and other practices that would facilitate sound grazing management, reduce erosion, and enhance water quality. The PCRD Board of Supervisors will use project ranking criteria to prioritize funding proposals to maximize the positive impact to natural resources in Platte County. In addition, PCRD is involved in partnerships with NRCS, WWDC, and other state and federal agencies to assist producers and landowners with additional funding sources.
