2008 Conservation Awards Banquet

The Washakie County Conservation District Board of Supervisors recently applauded the work of the many volunteers who make conservation work in Washakie County possible.

The WCCD hosted their 9th awards banquet to recognize those who have contributed towards natural resource conservation.  Awards were publicly presented for Outstanding Farmer, Outstanding Rancher, Outstanding Teacher, and Outstanding Volunteer.  Also  honored were other individuals and groups who received their ward certificate beforehand.  Below are a few of the award recipients:
